This guide will show you how to establish related item categories and link them with the item record in NetSuite SuiteCommerce.

In this brief article, you'll find out how to incorporate related item categories into an item record. Often, we observe our clients manually selecting each related item within the NetSuite item record. Using this approach, you can form "related item categories," making it simpler to assign these categories to the item record. This will facilitate the initial setup of your website.

If you hold an "Administrator" role in NetSuite, head over to COMMERCE > MARKETING > RELATED ITEMS CATEGORIES > NEW.

Here, you’ll assign a name to your category and include a short description before you delve into the complexities of managing your NetSuite account.

In the "BASIC" tab, you can begin adding items to this category.

After you've made your additions, click SAVE.

Note: In the compilation of all "related items categories," if you manually add related items to a specific item, it will generate one of these categories and designate it with the item's name.

Access your item record.

Apart from the related item categories you create, you can also include individual items in this list. This will significantly reduce the time spent on setting up and managing item data.
