SuiteWorld 2026 ran from October 25 to 28 in Las Vegas, and NetSuite used it to set out one direction: an "autonomous suite" where AI agents do more of the routine work across finance and operations, inside the permissions you already have.
This recap covers what NetSuite announced, what is available now, what is still planned, and what a NetSuite team should do next. It is based on NetSuite's own announcements, and we mark anything that is not yet available. If you were planning your own agenda, see our SuiteWorld 2026 planning guide, and for the event itself see our SuiteWorld 2026 overview.

NetSuite's release says the first four items are available in all markets where NetSuite Next is available, and that other capabilities are planned for a future release.
What "autonomous suite" means in practice
NetSuite founder and executive vice president Evan Goldberg framed the shift around AI that understands how a customer runs its business. NetSuite says customers can use its embedded AI, Ask Oracle and SuiteAgents, or bring their own AI service through the NetSuite AI Connector Service. In both cases the same NetSuite roles and permissions apply.
That matters for security reviews. NetSuite says agents run under existing roles and permissions, so an agent does not get wider access than the role it runs under.
SuiteSkills: packaged expertise
SuiteSkills are the headline item. NetSuite announced more than 45 new skills that package business knowledge for specific jobs, such as investigating a delayed close, finding revenue leakage or handling inventory exceptions. They work through Ask Oracle and through supported outside AI tools using the NetSuite AI Connector Service.
For a finance or operations lead, the practical question is which recurring investigation your team repeats every month. That is the first skill to test.
AI Portlets and AI Workspaces
AI Portlets let a user describe an analysis in plain language and get a chart, a dashboard view and suggested actions. NetSuite's example is a finance leader comparing actual sales against the projections in a marketing proposal.
AI Workspaces give people, agents, data and approvals one shared place to work on a process. The first named workspace is Autonomous Close, aimed at resolving close issues continuously, with a longer-term goal NetSuite calls a "zero-day close." Treat that as a direction, not a promise: the release gives no metrics.
Ask Oracle gets connectors
Ask Oracle, the assistant inside NetSuite Next, is adding Model Context Protocol (MCP) client support. NetSuite says this lets users search the internet, compare information across supported systems, review the supporting records and direct follow-up actions in connected applications, such as routing an approval or holding a payment. The release does not list this as available now.
Where it is available
NetSuite Next and Ask Oracle are currently limited to the US and Canada, according to diginomica's SuiteWorld coverage. The UK rollout is starting now, Spain, Sweden and the Benelux countries are due in early 2027, and other EMEA markets come later. Check your region before planning around any of this.
Industry SuiteAgents
NetSuite announced SuiteAgents for six industries. Each one looks for problems in that industry's data, recommends next steps and supports the action inside the normal workflow.
| SuiteAgent | What it focuses on | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Software | Revenue retention, margins, contract orchestration, revenue compliance, billing and forecasting | Available now in NetSuite Next |
| Product | Inventory exposure, supply changes, inventory efficiency and margins | Available now in NetSuite Next |
| Construction | Turning estimates into job budgets, preparing payment applications from verified progress, keeping job costs and billing aligned | Available now in NetSuite Next |
| Services | Turning statements of work into project plans, reviewing staffing capacity, flagging time-entry exceptions, assessing project health | Planned for a future release |
| Healthcare | Supply and financial risk across inventory, service lines, reimbursement and payer mix | Planned for a future release |
| Nonprofit | Grant-related financial and compliance issues | Planned for a future release |
Timing for the planned agents is subject to change, as NetSuite states in its release.
Build and manage your own agents
Three announcements target administrators and power users rather than end users:
- SuiteFlow Agent lets an administrator describe a workflow in Ask Oracle, for example making a PO number required or a field read-only. The user reviews the proposed configuration before anything is created.
- SuiteAgent Studio lets teams create their own agents and set the instructions, tools, triggers and execution roles before activating them. Agents can run on a schedule or in response to a business event.
- SuiteAgent Management Workspace is the control point: who can use an agent, which role it executes under, and when it is switched on or off. It adds monitoring, alerts for execution problems and System Notes to trace record changes.
NetSuite's release does not list these three as available now, so treat them as roadmap items until your account shows them.
SuiteExpress for implementations
NetSuite also announced SuiteExpress, an AI-driven toolset and method for implementations that covers data migration, requirements capture, configuration and workflow validation. It builds a customer knowledge base from meeting notes and documents. The initial release covers software customers in the US and Canada, per diginomica.
NetSuite Analytics Warehouse is now NetSuite Data Intelligence
NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW) has a new name: NetSuite Data Intelligence. NetSuite's release describes it as the product "formerly known" as NSAW, and NetSuite's product page now carries the new name.
The announcement adds two agents to Ask Oracle. A Data Intelligence Agent supports conversational analysis of your data, and a Deep Insights Agent delivers business-specific insights and recommendations. NetSuite does not list these as available now.
If your team already uses NSAW, nothing in the announcement says the product stops working or that you need to migrate. The change announced is the name and the new agents. Oracle's documentation may still use "NetSuite Analytics Warehouse" for a while, so expect both names in vendor material and in search results.
Developer news: what is new and what is not
Developers should know that NetSuite introduced SuiteCloud Agent Skills on April 30, 2026, months before SuiteWorld. They give AI coding assistants NetSuite-specific references for SuiteScript, permissions, security and conversion of SuiteScript 1.0 code to 2.1. What is new this week is the SuiteSkills and SuiteAgent tooling above, which targets business users and administrators.
What this means for your NetSuite team
Most of the pieces that matter to a business user are available now, while the build-your-own-agent tools are still coming. A sensible order of work:
- Confirm your market and edition. NetSuite Next and Ask Oracle are limited to certain markets, so check what your account can use today.
- Pick one recurring investigation. A late close, revenue leakage or an inventory exception that your team chases every month is the best first test for a SuiteSkill.
- Review roles before you switch agents on. Agents inherit existing roles and permissions, so cleaning up over-broad roles comes first.
- Keep human review. NetSuite describes agents as recommending and supporting action. Decide which actions need an approver before anything is executed.
- Hold off on planning around roadmap items. SuiteAgent Studio, SuiteFlow Agent, Ask Oracle Connectors and the Data Intelligence agents are not listed as available now.
One vendor figure puts the shift in context: Oracle says more than 13,000 customers already use AI with NetSuite through the AI Connector with tools such as Claude or ChatGPT, and that many want to bring those workflows into Ask Oracle (diginomica). That is NetSuite's claim, not an independent measure.
